Time and Tide has been nominated for awards in nine categories at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema (IIFC), which takes place from 8th-13th March in Idyllwild, California.

The festival – which Hollywood Insider calls ‘The Greatest Little Film Festival on Earth’ – is dedicated to showcasing emerging talent in both studio and independent film. The Idy Awards (Idyllwild Film Awards) have become one of California’s most prestigious film festival prizes.

Time and Tide has been nominated for Best Short Film, Best International Short Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Screenplay, Roger Taylor Award for Best Original Short Film Score (which is judged by Roger Taylor himself), Best Performance by a Child and the Mary Austin Award for Excellence in Screenwriting.

Due to the constantly changing restrictions and mandates due to Covid in California, IIFC is going virtual again this year, but the MPT team is looking forward to participating as much as possible and watching the films online.
